Ahlul Bayt News Agency - In an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), political analyst, Masoud Assadollahi said,” some of Syrian protesters are extremist Salafis and Wahabis.” “Their method in Iraq and Jordan was suicide attacking or armed insurgency and continue their techniques and operations in Syria as well. “The protesters are consisted of two groups: Those who have logical demands and are after reforms ; and those who are Salafis and Wahhabis [and follow extremism],” the political analyst said. ”Most of these people are felon and show their disagreement via military operations, causing instability and chaos in the country,” he said. “Considering the current gap among Syrian protesters, we can conclude that the protesters will not come to an agreement since the infields such as Wahhabis and Salafis are not united with other Muslim factions,” Assadollahi said. “The presence of extremists among protesters is obtrusive and even Russia detected this fact and underlined that assassinators are among Syria people,” he mentioned. Assadollahi pointed to the role of Saudi Arabia in Syrian skirmishes and said,” The penetration of Saudi forces in Syria is not obvious now. “ “There are some rumors about it and considering the recent position taken by Saudi Arabia, it is likely that the country sends financial and military aid to Syrian opposition,” said the political analyst. However; he said, so far Syria has not blamed any country for what is happening in its lands, so we cannot say for sure that Saudi Arabia help protesters in Syria He pointed o the Iran President, Mahmoud Ahmadi Nejad’s suggestion about holding a meeting in the presence of Islamic Countries’ representatives and finding a solution for Syria crisis and said,” I do not think that Syria accept this suggestion.” “The government sees itself more powerful than accepting any mediation and as we see anti Basshar Asad protesters announced that they would collapse the government by the end of month of Ramadan ,but the holy month of Radaman was finished and they could not accomplish their goal.” Masoud Assaollahi underlined. He said that Arab League Secretary General Nabil al-Arabi insisted to travel to Syria and brought an Arabic solution for the country’s crisis. “When the government of Syria got this point that Nabil al-Arabi wanted to come to the country with the bogus goal of negotiation for solving the problem, it stipulated that he could come to the country but it should not bring its Arabic plan,” the Middle East political analyst said. “So Syria seems to be heavy-handed and when it did not refused Arab countries mediation, we should not expect it to accept the Islamic mediation,” he underlined. “Of course, it is possible that Iran will play an import role in going between protesters and the ruling Syrian government [to quell the unrests],” Assadollahi mentioned. The Middle East Political Analyst pointed to the U.S pressures to issue a resolution in the UN Security Council against Syria and said,” it is not possible since the U.S, the UK, France and Portugal tried to issue a resolution against Syria in the Security Council before but these suggestions rejected firmly by Russia, China, South Africa and India.”
